 For
the past 5,000 years, people have been harvesting and drinking
tea to good health. Today, tea is the second most widely
consumed beverage in the world, after water. Tea is a very
rich source of flavonoids and antioxidants (chemical substances
that protect the body from the adverse effects of oxygen
and cell damaging "free radicals"). While the scientific
community has come to a broad consensus that green tea,
along with its cousins black and oolong, are beneficial
to healthy living, only recently has attention turned to
the possible cholesterol managing effects of tea.
Scientists have suspected that a
particular flavonoid in tea, theaflavins, could be
an active ingredient in the fight against high cholesterol.
In fact, a recent clinical study showed that when
adults with abnormal cholesterol were given a super
concentrated extract of theaflavins, they were able
to reduce their LDL (bad) cholesterol, by an average
of 16.4% in just 90 days. Unfortunately, theaflavins
are produced as green tea ferments into black or
oolong tea, but then quickly degrade as the finished
tea is packaged, exposed to environmental conditions,
and shipped. As a result, a cup of brewed tea will
have less than 1% beneficial theaflavins.

Why
TeaFlavin®?
 To
get the level of theaflavins shown to reduce cholesterol,
a person would need to drink 35 cups of tea, everyday!
Not likely. TeaFlavin ® is the
patented process that captures, preserves and protects
the same concentration of theaflavins as was given to the
people in the clinical study. So now, you can get the theaflavins
found in 35 cups of tea, within a single daily softgel.
All natural, caffeine free, tested safe. That's why TeaFlavin ® is...
